Wind-driven Okla. wildfire kills homeowner, destroys several houses

The wildfire that has set ablaze Oklahoma is creating very troublesome situation for the firefighters. It is said the fire has forced more than 1000 people to leave their home and the situation is turning out to be more gruesome. A private news agency correspondent Anna Werner claims that “there are plenty of firefighting departments that are trying their best to control the fire”.

On the other hand, officials of firefighting department said to the media reporters that “the fire has destroyed more than 20 homes and it has grossly affected the buildings and community parks”. Besides, Eric Harlow the Chief Guthrie Fire Department said in an interview to a private news agency that the fire has burnt six square miles of land and it has also affected many other places.

He further said that a person was not allowing the authorities to evacuate him however when the fire blaze passed by his home, he got burnt alive and died. Besides, weather experts opined that “this fire has been fueled by strong winds and it is going to be very dangerous for Oklahoma”. They further said that the temperature in the region will be in 90s and the fire fighters must come up with new techniques to contain the fire.

‘Real Housewives’ Stars Joe and Teresa Giudice Still Owe Millions Worth of Debt After Filing Bankruptcy

“Real Housewives” stars Joe and Teresa Giudice aren’t out of hot water yet. According to a trustee’s final report, the couple still owes $13.4 million to creditors — and that’s after filing for bankruptcy. Bankruptcy satisfied just $7,500 of their current debts, NJ.com reported Wednesday.

Teresa and her husband filed for bankruptcy in 2010. Their piling debts, they claimed, were a direct result of the recession and ensuing losses from Joe’s construction company. It is not altogether unusual that filing for bankruptcy did not erase the stars’ debts. Chapter 7 bankruptcy removes select debts only. Claimants are still responsible for money owed to the government, such as overdue taxes and student loan payments. The couple did not rely on bankruptcy alone.

“When John Sywilok, their court-appointed trustee, alleged that the couple had hid assets and income, Joe Giudice in 2011 invoked the Fifth Amendment against self-incrimination and agreed to a settlement in which the court denied discharge of his debts,” NJ.com explains. “His wife later followed suit.” In a rare twist of fate, however, filing bankruptcy — in their particular case — may have been their undoing.

The bankruptcy resulted in ongoing investigations and charges (pending) of financial and bankruptcy fraud. “It was a terrible decision to file for bankruptcy. They might have gotten away under the radar otherwise,” attorney Ronald LeVine tells NJ.com. “Joe Giudice faces a recommended sentence of 37 to 46 months, while Teresa Giudice faces up to 27 months,” the news site continues. Courts will make a final decision on July 8.

Liberty Voice chalks recent speculation up to the potentially disastrous combination. “Most people are fed up with the antics of these two celebrities and if [they] joined together in the name of dating, then the world [would be] doomed,” Liberty Voice writes. Although the duo separately stirred up a lot of controversy — Miley with bizarre, scantily clothed performances and Justin with his recent DUI arrest — Miley quashed rumors that they will be joining forces any time soon.

“Btw [sic] this is photoshopped,” Miley tweeted of a picture of the pair at rapper Pharrell’s birthday party. “Biebs wasn’t at Pharrells [sic] bday [sic] party. I never read this [removed] & that’s why.” Miley was similarly outspoken about rumors of the two hooking up around the same time last year. “I’m engaged. That is impossible,” Miley told TMZ in 2013. (Sources confirmed that Miley and ex-fiance Liam Hemsworth broke off their engagement in September 2013.) Miley also stated that she would never betray close pal Selena Gomez, who was dating Justin at the time.

NCAA March Madness: Arizona fans clash with police after tournament loss

On Saturday, officials of Tucson police said that they had fired pepper spray at hundreds of Arizona team fans who besieged the streets and threw firecrackers and beers at them after the defeat of Arizona from Wisconsin.

Tucson police Sgt. Pete Dugan said that though, there were no reports of injuries yet police arrested more than 15 people for creating the mess. He said that police had arrested those people who were threatening the officers during the duty hours and 14 of 15 arrested people have been released. Besides, one of them was shifted to Pima county Jail under the charges of unlawful assembly and disorderly conduct.

Dugan said that when we arrived at the scene, all the people gathered in the streets started pelting beer cans and stones on us. Despite this, we did not use tear gas and controlled the situation efficiently.

In addition, David Kitaeff the witness of this incident said to a private news agency that “I myself saw the people throwing the beer cans at the officers and they were responding with pepper balls, pepper canisters and pepper spray.”

Pussy Riot Attacked In Nizhny Novgorod

Recently, two members of the Pussy Riot group had been physically objectified by unarmed assailants in the MacDonald restaurant for nothing, Moscow Times claims.

Maria Alyokhina and Nadezhda Tolokonnikova are one of the members of Pussy Riot, who had recently released from jail, have been attacked by 5 men during their breakfast. Actually these ladies had come to Nizhny Novgorod to see their fellow prisoners and they decided to visit MacDonald restaurant for eating some snacks. When they reached at the restaurant a group of 5 men came to them and started assaulting them with small metallic pieces. Lawyer of Alyokhina said in his press briefing that “she got a cut over her head and supposed to be unconscious for few minutes”.

Reuters reports that the group of men shouted over the Pussy Riot “You bitches go to America” and held some pamphlets stating “dirty whores get out of the city”. On this scenario, Amnesty international took a serious stance and demanded Russian authorities to take serious notice of this and arrest the culprits. The director of Amnesty International Russian chapter Sergei Nikitin said in his statement that “the group had shouted over the ladies, hurled objects over them and filmed the whole scene”.

Police Released Revealing Photos of Justin Bieber

The Miami Police released revealing pictures of International singer “Justin Bieber” quickly after his captivity. Actually, he was arrested on 23rd January for driving a vehicle under the influence on Miami Beach. And, he was drunk when he got arrested, says a senior police official.

The revealing pictures show different parts of Bieber’s body. His tattoos and praying quotes inscribed on his body have also been shot in the camera. On the other hand, a lawyer of Justin Bieber said that “Police has subjugated the rights of the pop singer and it was not good to reveal one’s revealing pictures”.

There are many tattoos on his body and a picture of Jesus on his left leg, says an official. Besides, the medical reports claimed that “Bieber was drunk and there was presence of alcoholic ingredients in the blood of Bieber”.

Last but not the least, he was released from the police custody for having below average alcoholic content (0.2) in the body and the recently released revealing pictures are more or less shocking for his fans.

Jimmy Fallon and Rahm Emmanuel Took a Polar Plunge

The famous comedian Jimmy Fallon took an icy dip in the Michigan Lake. The full suit dressed man took a dip in the -32 degree lake and came out with screaming expressions over his face. Actually, he had made a promise that he would make Sunday’s morning as Polar Plunge with Mayor Rahm under the condition that the Mayor would join his program “The Tonight Show” in New York.

Emmanuel and Fallon went into coldest lake from head to toe and they suddenly came out to cherish the crowd gathered to see them. On the other hand, the famous musical group named as “Bagpipers” sung a very beautiful song for their dare to dip in the cold water.

It goes without saying that a big number of spectators were dressed in polar bear costumes and they were holding the pamphlets of Fallon to show their support. The plunging practice is generally practiced once a year to raise money for Chicago Olympics and many famous people have participated in this fund raising campaign.

Besides, Jen Kramer the president of Special Olympics Chicago said that “The participation of Fallon and Rahm has attracted more than 3000 people to see the running and it was supposed to be biggest viewership since the last year”.

It must not be forgotten that last year Mayor Rahm said that if the children read 2 million books under the “Rahm readers” program, he would jump in the cold lake. When Fallon made a call to Mayor and asked him to appear in his Show, the Mayor told him “I would surely join you but you have to join me first in the polar plunge”.

Last but not the least, Fallon had jokingly said that “I did not realize before making the commitment that it would tremble my whole body”.

Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski to warm up the Oscars

Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski are going to pop up in the Oscars after successfully completing the Sochi commentary on figure skating. The media reports claim that both of these skaters will be dressed in white clothes and they have planned to light up the Academy Awards with their famous gigs.
